Hyperscale Data Centre Substation

Roshqott takes immense pride in its involvement with this remarkable flagship Data Centre, hailed as the largest of its kind on the African continent. In a joint venture partnership with CKR consulting Engineers, we were awarded a prestigious turnkey EPC+M Data Centre contract. Our responsibilities encompassed the complete design, engineering, supply, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of an 132(88)/22 kV,100MVA Bulk Feed  substation for the new Midrand Data Centre. Additionally, the project entailed an Eskom self-build contract for a new Eskom switching station (Jukskei Switching Station), as well as various works at the Waterval and the Megawatt Park Substations, including substantiative upgrade of Eskom’s 88Kv overhead lines’ Midrand Network.

Our involvement in this remarkable hyperscale Data Centre project marks a significant milestone for our company, reinforcing our position as an industry leader in hyperscale data centre sector.
